Overview
Traverse Environmental is leading an Our Land and Water (OLW) National Science Challenge research programme to develop a toolkit for monitoring freshwater improvements. This toolkit helps stakeholders design effective monitoring programmes for rivers, lakes, and groundwater, providing guidance on measurement parameters, locations, timing, technology, and costs.

Required Toolkit
The toolkit will enable a Freshwater Manager to find out whether its existing freshwater monitoring network is suitable to detect early improvement.
I have been engaged to assist with the design of certain engagement tools within the research programme toolkit. These assets being a series of Factsheets and a website that will be developed to host an online interactive mapping tool (WebApp). I have been specifically tasked with the visual appearance and art direction of the website and the design and layout of the Factsheets.
This project has been initiated to improve the toolkits visual appeal and thus improve its communication and understanding to a broader audience that does not necessarily have a scientific or technical background.
